PRESIDENTS PRATTLE - August 2015

CLUB NIGHT

Is on Friday 7th August, with BBQ, and entertainment by Cody. He has been before and is very good. Why not come along and enjoy yourself.

 

PRESIDENT'S DAY - SUNDAY 9TH AUGUST 2015

This year's President's Day will be on the above date commencing at 2.30 p.m. with a spider, followed by the usual game and a three course meal afterwards with wine.  

SOBELL HOUSE DAY

On Saturday 18th July 24 teams of triples had a great fun day to raise money for Sobell House in memory of Gavin Anderson.   A grand total of just over £1700 was raised. The trophy winners were Julie Jackson, Carol Gaskins and Ray Gaskins. The spider was by John Stacey who donated it to the raffle. Photo Geoff Powell

 

MENS COUNTY COMPETITIONS

Othman Shariff and David Wedge are through to the semi-final of the Longford Cup which will be played to a finish at the club on Sunday 2nd August. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

LADIES COUNTY COMPETITIONS

We had representatives in the finals as follows:

The National Championships start on 3rd August.

NATIONAL COMPETITIONS AND CHAMPIONSHIPS

Congratulations to David Wedge and Chris Lewis on reaching the finals of the senior pairs. Perhaps they will be able to go one better that Mike Petersen and Alan Ley and win it this year.

 

Also Congratulations to Carol Gaskins on reaching the final of the Ladies Senior Singles.
